Getting To Know the Basics of Kundalini Yoga Simple aerobics exercise can tone the body but why just tone the physical aspect when a person can take up yoga and sharpen both body and mind as well? Kundalini Yoga focuses on the achievement of mental and physical perfection for its disciples and bets of all, it is free.

Do not fall over. Seal Pose- Begin by sitting with legs apart and with the back straight. Twist body towards one leg. Reach and hold that leg with your two hands, then lean. 4 counts should do it. Next, lean forward in between both legs while holding them. Arch your back while doing this. To finish, point your left foot while the right foot is flexed, and vice versa.

This is called the prayer position in which both palms meet together above the head and then move slowly down until it reaches the front of the chest. This can be done a few times and when the person is ready, the motion of the arms going from the top to bottom should be done simultaneously with one leg being raised with the other keeping the body balanced on the floor.

To be able to breathe properly and meditate deeper, a Yoga student must learn how draw his spine into the straightest possible line. Most of the Yoga movements require a student to sit on the floor without any backrest. He must learn how to align his spinal cord and be comfortable to be able to go through a meditative state.

Yoga may be viewed as some sort of mystical or exotic thing because of its origins in India. The word itself means to unite in the Indian language and so it does unite both body and spirit, both the physical and the mental. Others see Yoga as a series of exercises maybe because of the asana but yoga is in reality a science that aims to unify the consciousness and subconscious of every human being in order for him to attain a higher level of existence, Yoga is really all about promoting good health and good mind to achieve happiness.

To top it all, fun and adventure awaits you in the retreat. If you need a time out form the busy and problematic life you are currently having, the yoga retreat is one of your best options. It helps in refocusing, clearing and energizing you back so that you can return to your usual daily tasks with new and fresh perspectives.
